A HALL OF FAME CAREER RECOGNIZED FOR THE RAGIN’ CAJUN: JASON JOHNSON HONORED AS AN INDUCTEE AS PART OF THE NATIONALS SPRINT CAR HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2019!
TULSA, OKLAHOMA (January 15, 2019) – They say hard work pays off! However, what is truly amazing is when hard work is fueled by a never-ending passion for what you do. Anyone that knew Jason Johnson new he was passionate about sprint car racing and was willing to work hard every day. He was constantly challenging himself and others to be the best “you” each day. That drive for improvement resulted in a very successful career. Jason’s pursuit of his dreams, along with his family and devoted partners, combined with his hard work, dedication and passion for the sport of sprint car racing was recognized by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame when they announced the “Class of 2019” would include Jason Johnson, affectionately known throughout sprint car arcing as the Ragin’ Cajun. Along with Jason, some other well deserving inductees were part of the 2019 class, which includes Richard “The Gas Man” Griffin, Stevie Smith, Mose Andy “M.A.” Brown, C.K. Spurlock Jr., Thomas J. Schmeh, Greg Stephens and “Wild” Bill Endicott. These eight individuals will be formally inducted into the National Sprint Car Hal of Fame on Saturday, June 2nd, during a ceremony in Knoxville, Iowa.
