JOHNSON AND #41 TEAM WEATHERS THE COOLER TEMPERATURES AT RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY IN WESTERN NEW YORK FOR THE LAST RACE IN THE NORTHEAST AND BRINGS HOME A 10TH PLACE FINISH

RANSOMVILLE, NEW YORK (October 16, 2017) – Following Sunday night’s washout at Weedsport Speedway, Jason and the #41 team trucked to the western portion of the Empire State for the final race in the northeast for the 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season. There were 32 cars in the pit area at Ransomville Speedway’s half-mile oval as the temperatures dropped into the low to mid-40’s as the sun went down. But the good news is there was no rain and they were ready to race near Niagara Falls in the Big “R” Outlaw Shootout, an event that was postponed back on July 23rd.

ANOTHER QUICK TIME AT PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY, THE RAGIN’ CAGUN GETS UP ON THE WHEEL FOR 30 LAPS AND COMES HOME WITH A TOP FIVE AT THE SPEED PALACE IN THE NITTANY SHOWDOWN

PORT ROYAL, PENNSYLVANIA (October 14, 2017) – Jason and the crew pulled out of the Jonestown KOA, which has served as their home base while they were racing back here in the northeast, and headed up Route 322 to Port Royal Speedway for the Nittany Showdown. There were 40 cars sitting behind their haulers in the pit area, which is just one of the many improvements made at the half-mile oval, dubbed the Speed Palace, that sits on the Juniata Fairgrounds.

After rain for a number of days, the track officials had the racing surface pristinely manicured and ready for a night of action on the red clay. FULTON, NEW YORK (October 7, 2017) – As Mother Nature stopped dropping precipitation in New York over the morning hours, the sun shined through over Fulton Speedway as the track welcomed the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series stars to the Empire State as part of Super Dirt Week. Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team trucked north on I-81 from their base camp at Jonestown KOA to race at the fast 3/8 mile oval situated just off the banks of the Oswego River. There were 29 team lined up in the pit area located off the backstretch ready to make tracks in New York.

LOUISIANAN REJOINS THE FIELD IN THE JONESTOWN KOA #41 MAXIM AND RUN ENDS WITH A 17TH PLACE FINISH IN THE 55TH ANNUAL NATIONAL OPEN AT WILLIAMS GROVE’S HISTORIC HALF-MILE

MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA (September 30, 2017) – It was the first year they were able to get all three nights in under the relatively new 3-day format for the National Open at Williams Grove Speedway. The first two nights were filled with fast cars and some pretty good action out on the surface of the famous half-mile oval.

Night three was set with four cars – Donny Schatz, David Gravel, James McFadden and Daryn Pittman – locked in to the finale with the remaining cars assigned to four heat races based on their accumulated points. MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA (September 29, 2017) – Taking the lessons learned from a tough first night at the 55th Annual Champion Racing Oil National Open at Williams Grove Speedway, Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team were back at ‘The Grove’ for the second night of competition at the famous half-mile oval. On this night, there were 46 cars signed in and ready to compete as the fans enjoyed the pre-race festivities outside in preparation for a night of entertainment World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series style.

The number of cars warranted splitting the field into two flights, Flight A and Flight B, for each of the driver’s two laps against the clock. There were 29 cars parked in the pit area off turns three and four awaiting the night of racing action at the 4/10-mile oval.

JOHNSON GETS ANOTHER TOP TEN IN THE OPENING NIGHT OF THE WINE COUNTRY OUTLAW SHOWDOWN AT THE PICTURESQUE CALISTOGA SPEEDWAY NESTLED IN THE NAPA VALLEY OF CALIFORNIA

CALISTOGA, CALIFORNIA (September 15, 2017) – Jason and his fellow World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competitors headed to the beautiful Napa Valley to kick off the two-day Wine Country Outlaw Showdown at Calistoga Speedway’s half-mile oval. It is a terrific way to wrap up the final West Coast swing for the teams in a picturesque setting. There were 27 cars on hand to race on night one.
