AFTER CAPTURING HIS 250TH CAREER WIN ON NIGHT ONE OF TEXAS OUTLAW NATIONALS, JOHNSON CHARGES FORWARD TO CAPTURE A SIXTH-PLACE FINISH IN THE FINALE AT DEVIL’S BOWL SPEEDWAY

MESQUITE, TEXAS (April 15, 2017) – Perfection is almost impossible to replicate and repeat, but that was the challenge at hand for Jason Johnson and the JJR Marshall Racing team after turning in an absolutely perfect night that resulted in a victory on night one of the Texas Outlaw Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. Jason along with 25 other talented racers, including Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne and Christopher Bell, returned for night two to honor former track owner and sprint car visionary and aficionado Lanny Edwards who passed away in the latter part of 2016.

MESQUITE, TEXAS (April 14, 2017) – There are several historic tracks that are weaved into the rich legacy of sprint car racing throughout the United States. Near the top of all lists undoubtedly is Devil’s Bowl Speedway, which hosted the first-ever World of Outlaws event back in 1978. Jason has spent considerable time throughout his career honing his skills around this unique and lightning fast half mile facility situated in Mesquite, Texas. There were 29 cars lining the backstretch pit area on the first of two nights of racing action in the Texas Outlaw Nationals and the orange and black that trimmed in forty-one that would carry the Ragin’ Cajun on this night was glistening under the sun-filled skies over Texas.

QUEEN CREEK, ARIZONA (April 8, 2017) – As Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team continued to travel Eastbound across Interstate 10 they made their last stop on the early season Western swing at Arizona Speedway for the Arizona Desert Shootout. The Cajun Sensation and the boys have been working hard every night and were looking to close out on a strong note in the Grand Canyon State. THE RAGIN’ CAJUN COMES HOME WITH A 12TH PLACE FINISH AT COCOPAH SPEEDWAY AFTER 30 LAPS ON A VERY TRICKY RACING SURFACE THAT SAW LIMITED PASSING IN THE YUMA VALLEY SHOWDOWN

SOMERTON, ARIZONA (April 7, 2017) – The Ragin’ Cajun and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team was excited to be back at Cocopah Speedway where they have enjoyed a lot of successes historically when the raced with the ASCS National Tour. It was a hazy and sunny day with the thermometer reading 90 degrees. There were 25 competitors registered to race in the World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Car Series event at the fast oval in Southwest Arizona and the fans came out to see the speed stars. It was race day at Cocopah Speedway for the Yuma Valley Showdown!

A STRONG NIGHT FOR THE RAGIN’ CAJUN IN THE SO CAL SHOWDOWN AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY ON APRIL FOOL’S DAY NETS A DISAPPOINTING RESULT AS HIS RUN AT THE FRONT ENDS WITH A SPIN

PERRIS, CALIFORNIA (April 1, 2017) – After the races concluded on Friday night in Hanford, California, Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing team loaded up their Maxim Racing machine and headed 4.5 hours south to Perris Auto Speedway (The PAS) for the World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Car Series show at the famous Southern California speed plant. There were 26-winged sprint cars registered to race as each got to take some fast spins around the track in hot laps.

When time trial qualifying commenced, Jason was the tenth driver to take over the racing surface at The PAS aboard his Fischer Body Shop/CCC #41. HANFORD, CALIFORNIA (March 31, 2017) – On a beautiful and picturesque day in Hanford, California, 32 team lined the pit area at Keller Auto Speedway which is located on Kings Fairground. Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team were looking for a good night at this challenging oval against a strong field of competitive cars and drivers. The fans were packing into the covered grandstands and bustling out and about around the merchandise trailers grabbing their favorite driver’s t-shirts, hats and other goodies. The crews were making final preparations to their driver’s hot rods to test them out in warmups and hot lap. It was race day in California!

Jason certainly has experienced some highs and lows at the track over the past 24 months, starting with a low point in 2015 when he was injured. A determined individual, he used that situation and experience as a springboard to making himself and the team stronger and better as he came back with a vengeance on March 23, 2016 to collect the victory upon his return to the track aboard the Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT)/K&N Filters #41 Maxim. STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (March 25, 2017) – After rain washed out Friday’s show at Stockton Dirt Track, Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing crew were ready to get back at it in the Dissolvalloy Downhole Revolution/Crow Enterprizes #41 Maxim Racing machine. There were 39 cars at the 4/10-mile track located on the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds and every driver wanted to be standing in victory lane at the end of the night.

The field was split in two groups, Flight A and Flight B, for time trials due to the size of the field. Jason was assigned to Flight B, and when his Kistler Engine came to life he was about to set sail. TULARE, CALIFORNIA (March 18, 2017) – After not having any Irish luck on St. Patty’s Day, Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing team were back at the track ready to apply the lessons they learned on Friday night against the best in the business. When the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series treks to the West Coast it is never easy as there is a formidable group of local competitors who are on top of their game.
