CAJUN HAS SENSATIONAL RUN AS HE FINISHES OFF THE JIM “JB” BOYD MEMORIAL STANDING ON THE THIRD STEP OF THE PODIUM AFTER A LONG, RAIN DELAYED NIGHT ENDS AT BEAVER DAM RACEWAY

BEAVER DAM, WISCONSIN (June 24, 2017) – Beaver Dam Raceway is an exciting 1/3-mile oval that everyone, well most everyone, enjoys racing at when it comes around on the schedule. There were 38 cars packed into the pit area and one coveted trophy they were all gunning for – the Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial trophy. Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing team pulled into the pits coming off back-to-back podium runs and were looking to keep their momentum going on this night at Beaver Dam Raceway.

Based on the number of cars entered, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series field was split into two qualifying flights with 19 cars assigned to each flight. A SECOND CONSECUTIVE PODIUM FINISH FOR THE RAGIN’ CAJUN AND THE JJR MARSHALL RACING #41 TEAM IN THE DEBUT RUNNING OF THE WEST LIBERTY HAWKEYE 25 FOR THE OUTLAWS

WEST LIBERTY, IOWA (June 23, 2017) – Jason and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series made their first ever visit to West Liberty Speedway to compete in the West Liberty Hawkeye 25. There were 27 cars lined up in the pit area at the big half mile oval in Muscatine County, located to the southwest of Iowa City – Home of the Iowa Hawkeyes. It was a beautiful day to race under blue skies filled with a few puffy, white clouds.

Jason would hot the track 20th for his two time trial qualifying laps around West Liberty in his Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT)/FK Shocks #41 Maxim. SAUK RAPIDS, MINNESOTA (June 20, 2017) – Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team traveled to Sauk Rapids on Tuesday night to race at Granite City Speedway, a racy 3/8-mile oval located just Northwest of Minneapolis. There were 23 teams registered and anxiously awaiting to race around the Granite City surface in front of a packed house of excited fans ready to see the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car series stars do their thing at high speed.

The Ragin’ Cajun buckled his Crow Enterprizes safety harness and pulled down on the chin strap one last time of his Shell Shock custom painted Bell Racing Helmet as he waited patiently to push off for his two time trial laps. JOHNSON AND THE WORLD OF OUTLAWS OUTLAST THE RAIN AS THEY KICK OFF THE NORTHERN TOUR IN NORTH DAKOTA AS THE CAJUN RACES BACK TO A 12TH PLACE FINISH AT RIVER CITIES SPEEDWAY

GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA (June 16, 2017) – The JJR Marshall Racing #41 team headed to North Dakota, nicknamed the Rough Rider State, for two nights of racing. The fans of this area are no strangers to good racing and love when the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series stars come to town. There were 38 cars entered for the Gerdau Recycling Northern Tour race under ominous cloud cover as the event kicked off at this terrific facility.

There were two flights of time trials scheduled on this night and the Ragin’ Cajun was the second car out in Flight A for his two individual performance laps. EAGLE, NEBRASKA (June 13, 2017) – Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing crew were back at it again on Tuesday night with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, this time at Eagle Raceway for the running of the Eagle Nationals. There were 32 cars registered to race at this beautiful 3/8-mile oval on a hot and windy day in the Nebraska plains.

Jason buckled into his custom Fibreworks Composites seat as he waited patiently for his chance to get out on the track for his two time trial qualifying laps. KNOXVILLE, IOWA (June 10, 2017) – Any time you pull into the pit area at Knoxville Raceway you know whatever direction you look there will be a fierce competitor. All the best sprint car drivers, past and present, have come to the big half-mile oval in hopes of winning and many have gone home disappointed time and time again. Jason Johnson has had success here in the past, most recently winning the biggest race of them all – the 2016 56th Annual 5-Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals, and he was looking to build momentum for their return in August during this visit to the Sprint Car Capital of the World.

THE 2016 KNOXVILLE NATIONALS CHAMPION RETURNS TO THE SPRINT CAR CAPITAL ON THE FIRST OF TWO NIGHTS OF RACING IN THE BROWNELLS BIG GUNS BASH AND BRINGS HOME AN 8TH PLACE FINISH

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (June 9, 2017) – In their first return to Knoxville Raceway since they left as the 2016 Knoxville Nationals champions, Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team were pumped to be back at the big half-mile oval that is considered the Sprint Car Capital of the World for good reason. There were 42 teams entered for the evening’s racing activities with everyone driven by the same thing – an opportunity to say they won at Knoxville Raceway against the best in the business.

The field was split for qualifying with Jason slated to go out 16th in the second flight of qualifiers aboard the Priority Aviation Services, LLC/KSE Racing Products #41 Maxim. The track was slower for the drivers in the second flight, but when the Louisiana-born racer pushed off he pounded the accelerator and his Kistler Engine started to sing as he whistled down the backstretch. JACKSON, MINNESOTA (June 3, 2017) – It was the last of three nights of racing at the 39 Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals for Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team. Jason had accumulated the seventh highest point total with 997 points after the first two nights of racing at the big and fast half-mile. While the top four drivers with the highest combined point totals were locked into Saturday night’s Craftsman Club Dash, all the other drivers would be assigned to a heat race based on their point totals.

Jason would be the pole sitter in the third heat race with Danny Lasoski to his outside and Cap Henry and Brian Brown right behind in row two. There were 38 – 410s, 37 – 360s, and 25 – 305s ready to do battle on the fast and ferocious half-mile speedway at Jackson Motorplex. The drivers were all attempting to build on their night one point totals to improve their chances of locking into Saturday night’s big finale.

JASON AND THE JJR MARSHALL RACING #41 TEAM WERE AT THE JACKSON MOTORPLEX TO KICK OFF THREE NIGHTS OF RACING IN THE 39TH ANNUAL AGCO JACKSON NATIONALS WITH A 13TH PLACE FINISH

JACKSON, MINNESOTA (June 1, 2017) – The calendar just flipped to June as Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team pulled into the Jackson Motorplex for the first of three nights of high speed action in the 39th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals. The track at Jackson Motorplex is a big and fast half-mile oval that produces speed and high paced action. The activities outside the speedway pre-race were just as bustling as Jason took to the Motor Racing Network’s (MRN’s) radio broadcasting stage to talk on air with the host, Steve Post. Back in the pit area, there were 102 winged sprint cars filling the space including 41 410 sprint cars with the balance being 305 and 360 competitors.
