JOHNSON BRINGS THE 2017 WORLD OF OUTLAWS SEASON TO A CLOSE AT THE TEXTRON OFF ROAD WORLD FINALS WITH A 24TH PLACE FINISH AFTER A HARD FLIP ENDED HIS NIGHT IN CHARLOTTE

CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA (November 4, 2017) – It is a long season that is filled with highs, lows and numerous challenges. You don’t make it through the season without the support of your family, friends, sponsorship partners and fans. Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing team were at The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the final night of racing on the 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series schedule – the Textron Off Road World Finals finale.

With qualifying for Saturday night being completed on Thursday evening where Jason was the ninth quickest driver in Flight B aboard the Dissolvalloy Downhole Revolution/Valvoline #41 Maxim with a lap of 12.828 seconds. All that was left to do was to run the qualifying races and the final feature of the season at the World Finals.

A STRONG RUN FORWARD FOR THE RAGIN’ CAJUN ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF THE TEXTRON OFF ROAD WORLD OF OUTLAWS WORLD FINALS AT CHARLOTTE RESULTS IN AN EIGHTH PLACE FINISH FOR THE #41 TEAM

CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA (November 3, 2017) – Many of the stars of sprint car racing were in Charlotte this weekend to cap off the 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season at The Dirt Track of Charlotte for the Textron Off Road World Finals. There were 53 sprint car teams entered with qualifying only for both Friday and Saturday night kicking off the weekend  on Thursday night, Jason and the team were looking to cap off their season with a strong effort to carry momentum into the off-season where they work long hours getting ready for the next one.

RAGIN’ CAJUN AND THE #41 TEAM BEAT MOTHER NATURE AT THE TWISTER SHOWDOWN AS JOHNSON SECURES A TOP FIVE FINISH AT SALINA HIGHBANKS TO CAP OFF STRONG WEEKEND OF RACING

SALINA, OKLAHOMA (October 21, 2017) – After the checkered flew at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Jason and the team trucked south in their Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT) hauler to tackle the Twister Showdown at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Oklahoma. There were a total of 23 cars ready to race at the fast and racy 3/8-mile oval. With severe weather all around the area, Mother Nature was looking to play a role in this evening so the officials kept the show moving along.

Jaxx pulled the ‘53’ pill, which sent Jason and the Waco Metal/Weld Racing #41 Maxim out onto the track 19th overall for his two individual laps for time. THE FAST LOUISIANIAN SETS QUICK TIME AGAIN IN THE FISCHER BODY SHOP #41 AND THEN CHARGES TO A FOURTH PLACE FINISH AT LAKESIDE SPEEDWAY IN THE FVP PLATINUM BATTERIES OUTLAW SHOWDOWN

KANSAS CITY, KANSAS (October 20, 2017) – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series moved back to the Midwest this weekend, starting at Lakeside Speedway in the FVP Platinum Batteries Outlaw Showdown in Kansas City, to share their entertainment. Jason’s Fischer Body Shop/CCC #41 Maxim Racing entry was one of thirty six entries for the race as the fans filled the stands ready to see the best in the business go at it around Lakeside’s half-mile oval on a terrific evening for racing.

JOHNSON AND #41 TEAM WEATHERS THE COOLER TEMPERATURES AT RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY IN WESTERN NEW YORK FOR THE LAST RACE IN THE NORTHEAST AND BRINGS HOME A 10TH PLACE FINISH

RANSOMVILLE, NEW YORK (October 16, 2017) – Following Sunday night’s washout at Weedsport Speedway, Jason and the #41 team trucked to the western portion of the Empire State for the final race in the northeast for the 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season. There were 32 cars in the pit area at Ransomville Speedway’s half-mile oval as the temperatures dropped into the low to mid-40’s as the sun went down. But the good news is there was no rain and they were ready to race near Niagara Falls in the Big “R” Outlaw Shootout, an event that was postponed back on July 23rd.

ANOTHER QUICK TIME AT PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY, THE RAGIN’ CAGUN GETS UP ON THE WHEEL FOR 30 LAPS AND COMES HOME WITH A TOP FIVE AT THE SPEED PALACE IN THE NITTANY SHOWDOWN

PORT ROYAL, PENNSYLVANIA (October 14, 2017) – Jason and the crew pulled out of the Jonestown KOA, which has served as their home base while they were racing back here in the northeast, and headed up Route 322 to Port Royal Speedway for the Nittany Showdown. There were 40 cars sitting behind their haulers in the pit area, which is just one of the many improvements made at the half-mile oval, dubbed the Speed Palace, that sits on the Juniata Fairgrounds.

After rain for a number of days, the track officials had the racing surface pristinely manicured and ready for a night of action on the red clay. FULTON, NEW YORK (October 7, 2017) – As Mother Nature stopped dropping precipitation in New York over the morning hours, the sun shined through over Fulton Speedway as the track welcomed the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series stars to the Empire State as part of Super Dirt Week. Jason and the JJR Marshall Racing #41 team trucked north on I-81 from their base camp at Jonestown KOA to race at the fast 3/8 mile oval situated just off the banks of the Oswego River. There were 29 team lined up in the pit area located off the backstretch ready to make tracks in New York.

LOUISIANAN REJOINS THE FIELD IN THE JONESTOWN KOA #41 MAXIM AND RUN ENDS WITH A 17TH PLACE FINISH IN THE 55TH ANNUAL NATIONAL OPEN AT WILLIAMS GROVE’S HISTORIC HALF-MILE

MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA (September 30, 2017) – It was the first year they were able to get all three nights in under the relatively new 3-day format for the National Open at Williams Grove Speedway. The first two nights were filled with fast cars and some pretty good action out on the surface of the famous half-mile oval.

Night three was set with four cars – Donny Schatz, David Gravel, James McFadden and Daryn Pittman – locked in to the finale with the remaining cars assigned to four heat races based on their accumulated points. On this night, there were 46 cars signed in and ready to compete as the fans enjoyed the pre-race festivities outside in preparation for a night of entertainment World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series style.

The past winners list is prolific with names like Gordon Johncock, Larry Dickson, Lou Blaney, Bobbie Adamson, Kenny Weld, Kramer Williamson, Steve Smith, Smokey Snellbaker, Lynn Paxton, Doug Wolfgang, Kenny Jacobs, Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Lance Dewease, Billy Pauch, Donny Schatz, Fred Rahmer and Jason Meyers just to name a few.
